Doosan launches the new Doosan DX490LC-7 and Doosan DX530LC-7 Stage V 50-tonne crawler excavators, which offer significantly better performance compared to the previous Stage IV models. The machines are the new benchmark for the 50 ton class.
The new Doosan DX490LC-7 and Doosan DX530LC-7 provide the power and productivity needed for tough jobs. Consider, for example, large-scale earthmoving, stone displacement, building demolition, recycling, demolition and general construction projects.
New powerful Scania Stage V engine
The new Scania DC13 diesel engine powers the Doosan DX490LC-7 and Doosan DX530LC-7 excavators. As a result, the Doosan DX490LC-7 and Doosan DX530LC-7 meet Stage V engine emissions regulations and deliver a higher power output of 294 kW (394 HP).
In addition, the Scania engine offers a new solution to surpass Stage V. Super efficient DOC / DPF + SCR after-treatment technology ensures minimum emissions. Thanks to this new technology, the maintenance of the diesel particulate filter (DPF) is significantly reduced. Compared to the previous DPF in the '-3' machines, the new technology provides a six times longer automatic regeneration interval (60 hours) and an ash cleaning interval that is twice as long at 8000 hours. An operator can see from his cab how much ash has accumulated in the DPF. In addition, the instrument panel shows whether a regeneration has been successful.
Best in class performance
The Doosan DX490LC-7 and Doosan DX530LC-7 combine the enhanced performance of the DC13 engine with a Virtual Bleed Off (VBO) hydraulic system (D-Ecopower +) and the next generation Smart Power Control Technology (SPC3). This combination provides an overall fuel efficiency increase of 11%. Increased pump capacity and the higher motor power provide an increase in productivity of up to 8%. This means that the machines deliver the best performance in their 50-tonne weight class.
Both machines have four power modes available. These simplify the operation of the new excavators. These four modes replace the eight complex power modes and SPC combinations found in previous generation machines. The operator can set the power mode (P+, P, S, or E) in both one-way and two-way work modes.
Increased comfort and control
The new cab on the Doosan DX490LC-7 and Doosan DX530LC-7 models takes operator comfort and ease of operation to an unprecedented level. In addition, the cabin excels in spaciousness and ergonomics. As with the new 30-40 tonne Stage V models, the cab has a new high quality seat and offers more features as standard than other machines on the market. This ensures optimum controllability and high precision in all applications.
Major new features in the cab:
360-degree cameras provide full view around the excavator as standard. In addition, the cameras provide a top view of the area outside the machine. The camera array consists of a front camera, two side cameras and a rear camera. The camera display is separate from the meter panel.
The new Doosan DX490LC-7 and Doosan DX530LC-7 models are factory installed and equipped with DoosanCONNECT, Doosan's state-of-the-art wireless fleet monitoring system. DoosanCONNECT offers an online fleet management solution. This is very useful for monitoring machine security, displaying performance and promoting preventive maintenance.
As a leading brand in information and communication technology (ICT), Doosan offers its customers a lifetime of free mobile service on all '-7' excavators . This means that customers can use DoosanCONNECT without any restrictions when using a mobile network. Satellite service is provided free of charge for 3 years.
