Hyundai Doosan Infracore (HDI) replaces the DOOSAN brand for its construction equipment and introduces the new brand called ' DEVELON '. The change comes a year and a half after HDI became a subsidiary of HD Hyundai in August 2021.
HDI will change the name on its construction equipment to ' DEVELON ', confirming that this will be the new brand name worldwide today, 18 January 2023.
DEVELON is a combination of the words 'Develop' (develop) and 'Onwards' (further). The new brand name conveys HDI's direction to move further into the future through innovation and the intention to completely change the world with innovative products and solutions.
HDI has planned the introduction of the new brand from August 2021, when it became a subsidiary of HD Hyundai. The intention is to make a leap forward with the introduction of the new brand on the way to becoming a global leader in the construction equipment market.
With the change of the brand name, HDI's construction equipment will be provided with a new DEVELON sticker and the Doosan sticker will be removed.

HDI will post a more detailed story on the new brand and the vision behind the change in a 'Presentation of the new brand' on social media at the end of February. Also, machines under the new brand name DEVELON will be unveiled at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023, which will be held in Las Vegas, USA, next March.
